Join your nonprofit and philanthropic colleagues for an important public
briefing and discussion on the outlook for private, corporate and
community/public grantmaking in 2009 and other trends that will impact funders,
the nonprofit sector and the state economy as a whole:
-
Learn how grantmakers plan to
adapt to the changing economy and its impact on nonprofits.
-
Gain a philanthropic context
within the larger Minnesota economic picture.
-
Discuss ways that grantmakers
and nonprofits can work together to find opportunities for positive change
amid the challenges.
MCF will review key findings from its
2009 Outlook Report, which is based on
a recent survey of MCF members and other major grantmakers. Find out overall
giving trends for 2009, potential changes in the size and number of grants,
anticipated adjustments to giving priorities, and what other types of support
