Sponsorship Opportunities:
Grantseeking Seminars
Each year, the popular MCF Grantseeking Seminars provide a solid,
comprehensive introduction to the basics of grantwriting to some 400 to 500
individuals new to grantseeking. The Council has offered these grantseeking
seminars for more than 15 years.
The programs are a highly regarded source of information and knowledge on the
grantmaking field and the grantseeking process. The seminars feature sessions
with some of the region's leading experts on grantwriting and on researching
grantmakers, plus a session with Minnesota grantmakers.
Approximately 100 to 125 development and fundraising professionals attend each
grantseeking seminar.
Over 17,000 people in Minnesota's philanthropy and nonprofit field receive
mailings featuring the seminars, including the Council's Giving Forum
newspaper, a Grantseeking Seminar promotional postcard, and electronic
publications.
