Beim Foundation Announces Funding Changes The Beim Foundation in Minneapolis has announced several changes to its grantmaking program for 2005. The foundation has made some changes to the geographic regions it will fund and the types of funding it will provide. In the past the foundation has focused its grantmaking primarily in Minnesota. But in 2005 the foundation will expands its support beyond Minnesota to the city of Denver, Colorado; the Ann Arbor, Mich. region; and the Bozeman, Mont. region. The foundation will continue its support for proposals in human services, education, environment and the arts. In a change for 2005, the foundation will also support capacity-building proposals in the arts. The Beim Foundation will have two grant proposal deadlines in 2005: February 28, 2005, for human services and education, and August 29, 2005, for the environment, arts and capacity-building.
