Catholic Community Foundation Supports Spiritual, Educational and Social Needs The Catholic Community Foundation in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis supported a variety of spiritual, educational and social needs in the community during the second half of 2004. From July through December 2004, the foundation awarded 310 grants totaling $3,184,982. Of this amount, 42 percent went to support education, 14 percent to fund social services, 9 percent to parishes, 10 percent to seminaries and 25 percent to other religious organizations. The foundation's grant distributions came from endowments, donor-advised funds and other funds of the foundation. Since its inception in 1992, the Catholic Community Foundation has awarded a total of $39 million in grants to the community.
