Russell Reynolds Associates Selected for Council CEO Search

The Council on Foundations, Washington, D.C., has selected Russell Reynolds Associates as the search firm for the next president and CEO of the organization. Mary C. Tydings will be the lead staff.

"The next president of the Council will be a key leader for the sector during a critical time in its growth and development," said Search Committee Chair Maxwell King, president of the Heinz Endowments. King also chairs the Council’s newly formed Ethics and Practices Committee.

Dorothy S. Ridings, the current president and CEO, announced in December that she will retire in 2005.
