ADC Foundation's 2008 Focus Areas

Dec. 10, 2007

Over the past several years the ADC Foundation has made grants in two broad areas: STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, and technology for nonprofits. In 2008, the foundation will concentrate its Twin Cities charitable grantmaking on technology assistance. The foundation invites inquiries from nonprofit organizations that operate one of the following:
  • a community technology center (CTC) organized and operated specifically to provide technology access and education to underserved communities
  • a student computer lab that provides tutoring and homework services aimed at underserved student populations (schools are not eligible)
The foundation will entertain proposals related to the acquisition of computer hardware or equipment, operating systems or other software, server enhancements, website development and related areas. It will not consider operating or staff support requests.

To make an initial inquiry, use ADC Foundation's online Letter of Inquiry system. You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours of your submission, along with instructions on the next steps in the process.
