The Deluxe Corporation Foundation is proud to
announce a $500,000 grant to support FastTrac LaunchPad, an
initiative to offer entrepreneurial training programs for people who
have lost their jobs or entrepreneurs whose businesses are
struggling in this difficult economy. With a matching grant from the
Kauffman Foundation, the FastTrac LaunchPad program is rolling out
nationally. FastTrac LaunchPad is an accelerated version of the
established and successful FastTrac program, which has a proven
success record and has trained more than 300,000 entrepreneurs
nationwide. |

The Bush Foundation helped fund a South Dakota
Community Foundation initiative that will benefit nonprofit
organizations across South Dakota. The
initiative will
provide training, education and resources to increase nonprofit
capacity, improve nonprofit boards, increase nonprofit revenues and
strengthen the nonprofit sector as a whole. |

The Initiative Foundation will honor six winners
at its 2009
Initiative Awards on April 17th at
the St. Cloud Civic Center. Since 2000, the awards event has
recognized outstanding leadership and community service in central
Minnesota. |

The Headwaters Foundation for Justice annual
report won a prestigious Black Book
AR100
Annual Report Award, a national award for outstanding
design. It is the fourth time the foundation's annual report was
selected by AR100. AR100 recognizes the top 100 annual report
designs in the United States each year and are now in their 23rd
year. |

The United Health Foundation and NACHC introduced
“Faces of Hope,” an initiative to highlight the positive impact
community health centers make on the communities they serve,
underscore the continued need for these centers to grow and thrive,
and encourage expanded support for them. |
