Catholic Community Foundation Supports Education, Religion and Social Services

The Catholic Community Foundation in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis supported the spiritual, educational and social needs of the community through 401 grants made during the first half of 2005.

The grants, totaling $2,568,810, break down as follows: 42 percent to support education, 23 percent to fund social services, 12 percent to parishes, five percent to seminaries, and 18 percent to other religious organizations.

Some of the grant recipients:

  • Catholic Charities, $167,029

  • Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, $240,175 for tuition assistance

  • Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, $37,150 for tsunami relief

  • Center for Mission, $93,200

  • Growing in Faith Capital Campaign, $33,000
