St. Paul Travelers Focuses on Revitalizing Communities in Latest Round of Grants St. Paul Travelers and its two private foundations supported community organizations based in the Twin Cities, Hartford, Conn., and nationwide in second-quarter grants. "Revitalizing communities is about more than bricks and mortar," said Mary Pickard, president of St. Paul Travelers Foundation. "It's also about working together with the many skilled, dedicated and impassioned neighborhood leaders who want to create a better place to live and work. Our goal is to support these leaders and help them be successful in making positive change in their communities." In the second quarter of 2005, the foundation approved grants totaling more than $1.4 million to support affordable housing, commercial development and community building. Some of the local grants:
