E-COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP Minnesota Council on Foundations Posted April 10, 2008 The Minnesota Council on Foundations (MCF), a statewide membership association of private and community foundations and corporate giving programs, is seeking a volunteer intern to assist in maintaining the organization’s website, www.mcf.org, and supporting other e-communications activities. This opportunity is at the MCF office, located in the Mill District of downtown Minneapolis. MCF seeks an individual who can devote 15 hours a week for two to three months, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. weekdays. (Hours and schedule are flexible.) Position description: Under the direction of the Vice President of Communications and the Web Communications Associate, the intern will source and update content for the organization’s current website, assist with tasks related to development of a new website, and support other e-communications tactics as requested. The organization seeks someone with a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for the profession of communications, and a commitment to service in the nonprofit sector. Skills needed:
