Posted May 6, 2008

Are you looking to jump-start your career in development / fundraising with an outstanding, well-respected nonprofit? Do you want time off this summer before starting your career?

Beginning in August 2008, Fraser is adding a development associate to work full-time (Monday-Friday) with flexible business hours. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent college grad or polished professional to grow their skills from being part of an accomplished development team.

Fraser, a nationally renowned Minnesota nonprofit, is looking for compassionate individuals to make a difference in a growing organization. Since 1935, Fraser has been helping children, adolescents and adults in the greater Twin Cities area reach their potentials. Fraser serves children of all abilities and adults with special needs through comprehensive education, healthcare and housing.

One of the largest community resources of its kind, Fraser offers a lifelong spectrum of services, including diagnostic evaluations, comprehensive mental health services, rehabilitation services, child care and education for children with typical needs and special needs, housing for adults and children with developmental disabilities, and workshops and seminars for parents, caregivers and professionals. Fraser is consistently rated a top nonprofit by the Charities Review Council of Minnesota, an independent organization that advocates for strong, accountable, ethical nonprofits. In addition, in a recent survey, 98 percent of Fraser employees felt that their job was important in serving the mission of Fraser.
