SENIOR GRANT WRITER National Marrow Donor Program / Marrow Foundation Posted July 28, 2008 Your career can make a life-saving difference. The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is a leader in the fast-growing field of cellular transplantation. Every day, more than 6,000 children and adults are searching for a second chance at life due to a devastating illness such as leukemia, lymphoma or other threatening disease. These patients seek the resources of the NMDP with the hope of receiving a life-saving marrow or cord blood transplant. Our staff helps deliver cutting-edge science, service and support to those patients and their families. Our fundraising partner, The Marrow Foundation, located in Minneapolis, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced grant writer. This position has been created so that a dedicated professional can identify public and private funding resources to broaden and enhance existing programs and services offered by the organization. This position serves as a principal writer, performs community needs assessments to submit with grant applications, and monitors all grant submissions from start to close-out. Requirements:
