ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC FUNDRAISING College of Saint Benedict, Institutional Advancement Department Posted Aug. 12, 2008 Job description: The Institutional Advancement Department at the College of Saint Benedict invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Athletics Fundraising. The Assistant Director of Athletics Fundraising is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual and corporate donors to support CSB athletics. This person will manage athletics fundraising processes, programs and events for Institutional Advancement, which is responsible for the college’s comprehensive fundraising program, and will facilitate collaboration among the departments of Institutional Advancement, Student Development and Athletics to establish athletics fundraising priorities and goals each year.
This position will engage alumnae, parents, faculty, staff
and friends in athletics fundraising activities, and manage all processes
associated with these fundraising activities consistent with messaging for CSB
athletics. This will include making personal visits to donors and prospects in
order to cultivate and solicit gifts; raise funds at all levels to support the
Blazer Backers program; work in coordination with the director of advancement
communications to develop, expand and secure sponsorship support at all levels;
work collaboratively to produce the annual game program which promotes
intercollegiate athletics and sponsorship support for the athletics
program; identify grant opportunities; prepare solicitations to support CSB
athletics; and lead all coordinating aspects of specific special events such as
the annual Women’s Walk and annual Blazer Open Golf Tournament. Qualifications:
