President and CEO
Greater Twin Cities United Way
Posted
June 12, 2009

Greater Twin Cities United Way is seeking a new President and CEO to lead the organization as it pursues its aggressive agenda for the future.

The Agenda for Lasting Change calls for the organization to shift its focus to addressing the root causes of poverty. This will require new initiatives within the community and a leader who is able to lead the conversation on poverty, as well as convene leaders who can address community needs through public/private partnerships, through wise legislation, and through focused philanthropy.

The CEO must bring a balance of strategy, public policy and senior level operating experience, as well as a demonstrated commitment to social services and a passion for the United Way’s fight against poverty.

A detailed position description is available upon request. The search committee asks that all inquiries, nominations and applications be directed to the organization’s search firm, Spencer Stuart at GTCUW@spencerstuart.com.
