Corporate Relations Associate

The MIA seeks a qualified professional to provide solicitation, sales, administrative and fulfillment support for corporate philanthropic and sponsorship requests. Duties include: assist in planning, creating, coordinating and tracking solicitations and reports to corporate funders and prospects for general operating support and program/exhibition sponsorships; assist in coordinating, fulfilling and reporting on corporate gifts and sponsorships; research and identify new prospective corporate funders/sponsors; assist in the planning and execution of corporate events.

Requirements include: college degree or equivalent experience; two years of related experience in a development, sales or sponsorship office; high degree of organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation; ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent customer service skills; MS Office proficiency essential. Internet research capability and familiarity with development databases preferred. Experience with presentations/solicitations, proposals and grant writing preferred.
