Fifteen Promising Leaders in Philanthropy
Selected for Career Pathways Program
(Alrington, VA - July 7, 2010) Fifteen promising philanthropic leaders have been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Council on Foundations’ 2010-2011 Career Pathways (Pathways) program. The effort is designed to recruit and foster diverse talent and excellence in the sector’s most senior levels.

Northwest Area Foundation Announces New Board
Members (St. Paul, MN - July 16,
2010) Darrell Robes Kipp of Browning, Mont. and Mary Jean Ryan of Seattle, Wash. were elected to the Northwest Area Foundation Board of Directors during the Board’s regularly scheduled July 2010 annual meeting. Each begins a three-year term.
Kipp is co-founder of the Piegan Institute, which is dedicated to researching,

Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation
Elects New Board Officers
(Owatonna, MN - July 19,
2010) Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation’s Board of Trustees elected new officers who began serving their term on July first. They are: Steve Underdahl, Chair, Faribault; Bob Hoffman, Vice Chair, Waseca; Stephen Waldhoff, Treasurer, Albert Lea; Linda Lares, Secretary, Albert Lea; and, Executive Committee Member-at-large, Deborah Dove, New Ulm. Dan Christianson, Preston, who is ending his term as Chair, will serve as past chair. These six trustees also serve as the Executive Committee, which oversees the business of the foundation (more). |
