Gary Nan Tie is Senior vice President, Investments, managing Financial Risk & ALM, at Travelers. Previously, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York and prior to that held positions at Morgan Stanley, New York and Lockheed, Palo Alto.

Philip Bither, the Walker Art Center's Senior Curator of Performing Arts program,  since 1997, has overseen the expansion of the Performing Arts program, including the building of a new theatrical home within the Walker's 2005 expansion.
