The report reviews child care provided by family, friend and neighbor (FFN) caregivers in Minnesota. The study notes that the observation of strengths and growth areas in FFN care is not synonymous with ratings of quality care. This report provides an overview for policymakers and program developers on FFN care for the creation of new initiatives that are adaptable to the unique cultural and care giving circumstances of FFN caregivers.
