Greetings!
We are thrilled to invite you to join your community and public foundation
colleagues in a day designed to help you build your community presence and
leadership! Here are some important things to know about our theme and who
should attend:
How do we define "community philanthropy"?
Community foundations, faith-based foundations, small community funds and other
public foundations that raise funds to support their communities are all
included.
Who should attend?
Whether your foundation is defined by geography, faith or a cause, all
foundation management, trustees, volunteers and staff will find useful
information at this event.
What is the theme of the conference?
Our theme, "Leadership: Evolving Roles in Your Community," reflects today's
changing tide in community needs. Now is the time to evaluate your foundation's
role and how you can play a greater part in leading your community to a better
future.
Why is it important to attend?
Communities are looking toward philanthropic organizations to provide leadership
on issues impacting their constituents. You will gain important and relevant
leadership tools, insights and examples that you can put into practice in your
own organization.
We hope you will join us! |
