Dear Grantmakers,
How we define the promise of philanthropy, and how we measure whether philanthropy is living up to that promise, depends on our experiences, learning and worldview. Are we attaining our aspirations for philanthropy? What will successful philanthropy look like in the future? How do we join together to accomplish philanthropy's promise?
The 2007 MCF Conference for Grantmakers & Annual Meeting of Members will explore through storytelling, presentations and dialogue what we know from the present and past to inform a positive, exciting future.
In inspiring and thought-provoking keynote sessions, the CEO and Trustee Dinner, half-day session tracks for family, community, corporate and private independent grantmakers, and 90-minute breakout sessions, we'll explore the implications both of having promise and of living up to the promise of what philanthropy can be.
Sessions will focus on how we reflect the promise of philanthropy in the way we:
- Seek to make an impact
- Exhibit leadership
- Learn from our successes and failures
- Collaborate within and outside of the field
- Connect with our colleagues and the wider community
Join us November 1-2 to engage your mind and heart in this hopeful and inspiring event!
