ADC Foundation Supports Victims of National Tragedy

The ADC Foundation, the corporate giving arm of ADC, has announced its plans to donate $50,000 to The September 11th Fund, a fund established to provide relief to victims and families affected by the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. The donation will provide immediate support to established emergency assistance agencies, such as the American Red Cross and other nonprofit health and human service agencies in the affected cities.

"The toll of the suffering is vast and we hope our support will help victims of this tragedy begin to recover," said Rick Roscitt, chairman and CEO of ADC. "Given the scope of this tragedy, ADC's Foundation Board of Directors felt that the appropriate response was to help those most directly affected by this disaster. We're also confident that many of our employees will contribute to The September 11th Fund."

ADC and its foundation will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for any worldwide employee's gift for the disaster, up to $1,000 per employee. In addition, the company and foundation will hold a blood drive for employees at its world headquarters.
