MinnesotaHelps.org The Minnesota Helps Fund - Bridge Disaster Fund is a collaboration of a metro area philanthropic institutions, including The Minneapolis Foundation, Minnesota Community Foundation, The Saint Paul Foundation and the Greater Twin Cities United Way to facilitate contributions to disaster relief efforts. The Northwest Area Foundation, the Grotto Foundation and McKnight Foundation have also pledged support.
3M $50,000 to the Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund; donating additional funds from the 3M Championship golf tournament to the Red Cross Twin Cities
ADC Foundation Match employee gifts to Minnesota Helps - Bridge Disaster Fund; conducting an employee blood drive
Allianz Match employee contributions to the Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund and the City of Minneapolis fire and police departments; donated meals to the Red Cross family assistance center; grant through sister company, Fireman’s Fund, to assist the City of Minneapolis fire department through their Heritage Program
Best Buy $50,000 to Red Cross Twin Cities, providing products to help facilitate mobile communications to the Red Cross Family Assistance Center, organizing a blood drive
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation $4,000 through CLUES (Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio, a provider of behavioral health and human services to the Latino community), for mental health care to help Latino families affected by the bridge collapse; $25,000 to upgrade the red alert phone system at Hennepin County Medical Center
Boston Scientific $10,000 to the Red Cross disaster relief fund, establishing an employee matching gift program for donations to the Red Cross
Briggs and Morgan Donating to the Red Cross, hosting an employee blood drive
Cargill $50,000 to the Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund
Ceridian $5,000 to the Red Cross Twin Cities; matching employee contributions
CHS Foundation $10,000 to Minnesota Helps - Bridge Disaster Fund
Comcast Has made available its telecommunications products and services to the disaster relief organizations and agencies, offering the opportunity to post important messages on their cable networks and to produce and air Public Service Announcements
Deluxe $50,000 to the Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund
G&K Services $20,000 to Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund
General Mills $50,000 to Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund, donating food to rescue workers, conducting a blood drive among employees
Imation Will match up to $1,000 per employee through Sept. 3 to the American Red Cross, Waite House/PUC and the Minnesota Helps Fund
John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Recommended that $20,000 be given to the Minnesota Helps Fund - Bridge Disaster Fund from our donor-advised fund at The Saint Paul Foundation
Medica Foundation $10,000 to Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund
Medtronic Foundation $50,000 to Red Cross Twin Cities' local disaster relief fund; coordinating a blood drive for employees

RBC Dain Rauscher Foundation $25,000 contribution to the Minnesota Helps Fund - Bridge Disaster Fund; will match up to $25,000 in employee donations to the Minnesota Helps Fund - Bridge Disaster Fund, Salvation Army - Northern Division and the Sherry Engebretsen Memorial Fund
Target $50,000 to the American Red Cross; $25,000 to the Salvation Army; product donations exceeding $40,000
Thomson West Targeted double match opportunity in partnership with the American Red Cross
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Foundation Established a memorial fund to honor Sherry Engebretsen, a Thrivent Financial employee who was a victim of the bridge collapse; donated $25,000 to the Minnesota Helps - Bridge Disaster Fund; will match gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000
Toro Donated six Toro workman utility vehicles to the site to be used during the recovery efforts
UnitedHealth Group Individuals coping with the emotional aftermath have access to a free help line staffed by experienced master's-level counselors; conducting an employee blood drive
