3M Foundation Hugo: $10,000 to American Red Cross for their local disaster recovery fund; 2,000 N95 respirators to American Red Cross for cleanup efforts; $10,000 to Salvation Army for their north metro storm relief fund.

Myanmar: $50,000 grant to CARE for relief and long-term recovery efforts; 3M Thailand has donated $6,000 to the Thai Red Cross, and they have provided various medical products valued at almost $7,000.

China: $250,000 dollar-for-dollar match to the American Red Cross for earthquake relief efforts; 3M China conducted its own employee match of approximately $150,000 to the Red Cross Society of China; 3M China has also provided 250,000 respirators, various medical products, and safety products;  3M Hong Kong match of $27,000 donated; 3M Taiwan and Sumitomo 3M in Japan are also in the midst of matches.
ADC and the ADC Foundation China: An additional $100,000 to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, to follow the immediate cash grant of $10,000 to the China Red Cross; food, clothing and cash collections from ADC employees in the four main ADC facilities in China, working through a local entity (Shenzhen Charity Agency); a global appeal to ADC employees outside of China to contribute individually through the International Red Cross; and a foundation matching gift of all employee cash donations, over $25,000 total.
Ameriprise Financial $100,000 contribution to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help with disasters throughout the country and internationally. Also match employee donations through Gift Matching program.
Best Buy Hurricane Gustav: Best Buy's U.S. stores will collect monetary donations from customers through Sept. 30 to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Best Buy will match customer contributions up to $1 million.

Midwest floods and tornadoes:
Contributed $25,000 to local Red Cross chapters. An additional $10,000 was directed to the Farm Aid Family Farm Relief Fund. Collected customer donations in stores to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and offered to match donations up to $100,000.

China:
Best Buy China donated 100 2-way radios for relief workers and Five Star donated tents to provide shelter for the victims. Best Buy China employees have contributed $300,000 to the Red Cross Society of China. Employees also organized blood drives. The Best Buy store in Shanghai will donate 5% of its total sales revenue between May 23 and May 31 to aid in the rebuilding of SzeChuan schools. Best Buy Co. Inc. made an enterprise donation of $1 million.
Cargill Midwest flooding: $75,000 for immediate relief efforts, split among American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and United Way of East Central Iowa; the company also matched employee donations to American Red Cross. An employee relief fund was set up by Cargill's businesses. The company and its local employees will determine longer-term rebuilding efforts in the communities where we operate in Iowa.

China: More than $450,000 has been donated to Red Cross societies for China relief efforts, including a corporate grant, business-unit donations, employee gifts and corporate match to employee donations. An additional $500,000 has been committed to longer-term recovery efforts with local NGOs partners for projects to be selected by Cargill China operations. Cargill China has provided supplies and materials for its employees and customers who were directly impacted by the earthquake.

Myanmar: Cargill Singapore provided approximately $15,000 to Mercy Relief, and Cargill Geneva and its employees have provided approximately $11,000 to a Swiss aid relief agency for immediate relief efforts in Myanmar. Cargill will provide $25,000 in longer-term recovery efforts to one of its global partners when a project has been identified.

CHS Foundation Hugo: $5,000 to the local Red Cross to help replenish their disaster relief funds.
Deluxe Corporation Foundation $100,000 contribution to the National Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help with disasters throughout the country.
Ecolab China: Product donation from our plant in China; $25,000 to the International Red Cross; $25,000 matching gift program for the Red Cross.
General Mills Foundation Midwest floods: $25,000 to the Grant Wood Area Chapter of the Red Cross in Cedar Rapids; $25,000 to the Northeast Missouri Chapter of the Red Cross; a 1:1 match of employee contributions to the American Red Cross Central Midwest Disaster Relief Fund.

China: On behalf of General Mills China, committed $500,000 to the American Red Cross to support the efforts led by the Red Cross Society of China.

Graco Foundation $30,000 to the American Red Cross
Land O'Lakes Hurricane relief: Matching employee and member gifts up to $50,000; will donate $40,000 in food assistance.
Medtronic Foundation Matching employee gifts 1:1 up to $10,000 per individual to specified organizations serving China and Myanmar; will match up to a total of $100,000 for China and up to $25,000 for Myanmar.

$100,000 to assist in the rebuilding of community health organizations/clinics in China.

As part of our commitment to community, employees may take up to five days of paid time off to volunteer with a nonprofit organization and assist with disaster recovery.
Pentair Made a donation to the Red Cross, and employees in the area are determining water needs so we can help as needed.
Piper Jaffray China: $25, 000 contribution to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund; employee matching gift program to Red Cross International and Red Crescent Societies.
RBC Wealth Management Midwest floods: Will match employee contributions up to $50,000 to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and The Cedar Valley Humane Society. $25,000 corporate contribution from the foundation to be divided between Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and Coralville/Iowa City Area Flood Relief Fund.

International: Parent company, Royal Bank of Canada, will donate $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross China Earthquake relief fund and $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone fund.
SUPERVALU Foundation $25,000 to disaster recovery efforts through the United Way 2008 Midwest Flood Disaster Relief Fund.
Target Hurricane relief: Donating more than $300,000 in product for relief packages, in partnership with the Red Cross; packages will be assembled by volunteers and delegates who are in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for the Republican National Convention.

Midwest floods: $100,000 in cash and product to the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

China:
Donating $500,000 to aid immediate relief efforts in affected areas: $250,000 to the Red Cross Society of China in support of overall relief efforts and $250,000 to Save the Children in support of emergency education and safe places for children.
Toro China: Matching employee contributions to the American Red Cross, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies up to $50,000.

Myanmar:
Matching employee contributions to the American Red Cross, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies up to $50,000.
UnitedHealth Group Midwest floods: Donating $50,000 each to the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army to assist in emergency relief and recovery efforts.

International: Will make donations to four of our established charity partners who are on the ground and providing relief in these countries. In Myanmar, our partners are CARE and UNICEF. In China, our partners are the American Red Cross and World Vision. Will match employee gifts to these charities 1:1 up to $100,000.
U.S. Bank Employee matching program.
Wells Fargo China: Wells Fargo Foundation will contribute $50,000 to the Committee of 100, a New York-based Chinese-American organization, for their China Earthquake Relief Fund. The Committee of 100 has chosen the Give2Asia organization, which supports customized charitable giving throughout Asia, to distribute donations among organizations supporting disaster relief in China.
