3M Foundation |
Hugo: $10,000 to American Red Cross for their
local disaster recovery fund; 2,000 N95 respirators to American Red
Cross for cleanup efforts; $10,000 to Salvation Army for their north
metro storm relief fund.
Myanmar: $50,000 grant to CARE
for relief and long-term recovery efforts; 3M
Thailand has donated $6,000 to the Thai Red Cross, and they have
provided various medical products valued at almost $7,000.
China:
$250,000 dollar-for-dollar match to the American Red Cross for
earthquake relief efforts; 3M China conducted its own
employee match of approximately $150,000 to the Red Cross Society of China; 3M China has also provided
250,000 respirators, various medical products, and safety products; 3M
Hong Kong match of $27,000 donated; 3M Taiwan
and Sumitomo 3M in Japan are also in the midst of matches. |

ADC and the ADC Foundation |
China: An additional $100,000 to the
American Red Cross International Response Fund, to follow the immediate cash grant of $10,000 to
the China Red Cross; food, clothing and cash collections from ADC
employees in the four main ADC facilities in China, working through a
local entity (Shenzhen Charity Agency); a global appeal to ADC employees
outside of China to contribute individually through the International
Red Cross; and a foundation matching gift of all employee cash
donations, over $25,000 total. |

Ameriprise Financial |
$100,000 contribution to the Red Cross
Disaster Relief Fund to help with disasters throughout the country and
internationally. Also match employee donations through Gift Matching
program. |

Best Buy |
Hurricane Gustav: Best Buy's U.S. stores will collect monetary
donations from customers through Sept. 30 to benefit the American Red
Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Best Buy will match customer contributions
up to $1 million.
Midwest floods and tornadoes: Contributed $25,000 to local Red Cross
chapters. An additional $10,000 was directed to the Farm Aid Family Farm
Relief Fund. Collected customer donations in stores to benefit the
American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and offered to match donations
up to $100,000.
China: Best Buy China donated 100 2-way radios for relief workers and
Five Star donated tents to provide shelter for the victims. Best Buy
China employees have contributed $300,000 to the Red
Cross Society of China. Employees also organized blood drives. The Best Buy store in Shanghai will donate 5% of
its total sales revenue between May 23 and May 31 to aid in the
rebuilding of SzeChuan schools. Best Buy Co. Inc. made an
enterprise donation of $1 million. |

Cargill |
Midwest flooding: $75,000 for immediate relief efforts, split
among American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and United Way of East Central
Iowa; the company also matched employee donations to American Red Cross.
An employee relief fund was set up by Cargill's businesses. The company
and its local employees will determine longer-term rebuilding efforts in
the communities where we operate in Iowa.
China: More than $450,000 has been donated to Red Cross societies for China
relief efforts, including a corporate grant, business-unit donations,
employee gifts and corporate match to employee donations. An additional
$500,000 has been committed to longer-term recovery efforts with local
NGOs partners for projects to be selected by Cargill China operations.
Cargill China has provided supplies and materials for its employees
and customers who were directly impacted by the earthquake.
Myanmar:
Cargill Singapore provided approximately $15,000 to Mercy Relief,
and Cargill Geneva and its employees have provided approximately
$11,000 to a Swiss aid relief agency for immediate relief efforts in
Myanmar. Cargill will provide $25,000 in longer-term recovery efforts
to one of its global partners when a project has been identified. |

Hugo: $5,000 to the local Red Cross to help replenish their
disaster relief funds. |

$100,000 contribution to the National Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to
help with disasters throughout the country. |

the American Red Cross to support the efforts led by the Red Cross
