Caren Custer was named administrative assistant for the Minnesota Council on Foundations.

John Molinaro, vice president - program of West Central Initiative, will work with The Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C., for six months beginning Feb. 1.

The Northwest Area Foundation appointed Elsie Meeks and William Thorndike Jr. to three-year terms on its board of directors.
