(Oct. 23, 2013) — In the third quarter of 2013, the Funders Collaborative awarded two grants totaling $110,000. The grants support two of four Funders Collaborative goals: Strong Local Economy and Vibrant Transit-Oriented Places.
STRONG LOCAL ECONOMY
The Central Corridor Business Resources Collaborative received a $60,000 investment to support a community conversation about the best uses of the University Avenue roadway.
VIBRANT TRANSIT-ORIENTED PLACES
$50,000 was awarded to Saint Paul Smart Trips to support the Frogtown active transportation program. Learn more about this program in a recent Funders Collaborative blog post.
