MOSAIC DONATES $25,000 FOR TORNADO RELIEF IN NORTH MINNEAPOLIS AREA
PLYMOUTH, Minn., May 24, 2011—The Mosaic Company (NYSE:MOS) today announced it will contribute $25,000 for tornado relief efforts in the north Minneapolis area, near its Plymouth headquarters.
Mosaic’s contribution will go to Urban Homeworks to provide immediate and long-term assistance, supporting volunteer and rebuilding efforts. Communities affected by recent severe weather include north Minneapolis, Fridley and St. Louis Park.
“Supporting communities is ingrained in our culture, especially when disaster strikes so close to home,” said Chris Lambe, Mosaic’s director of social responsibility. “We’re proud to partner with the Urban Homeworks to make an immediate impact as our neighbors repair and rebuild from damage caused by these storms.”
