Foundation Practices for Public Policy Engagement

This paper is an effort to better understand how foundations that aspire to impact public policy structure their work. Foundations recognized for their work in public policy were identified and individuals key to their efforts were interviewed. The interviews explore how these foundations approach public policy and how they incorporate public policy into their organizational structure and staffing.
