As research associate, Anne gathers, organizes and interprets facts and figures on grantmaking in Minnesota. She uses the information to answer questions for grantmakers and to keep the Minnesota Grantmakers Online database current and comprehensive for grantseekers. Data collected and analyzed by Anne also drive the annual publication of Giving in Minnesota and rankings of top grantmakers and corporate givers in our state.
Anne joined the organization in 2005 after working in labs, greenhouses and several small nonprofit organizations. She has a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Carleton College in Northfield.
If Anne isn’t crunching data, there’s a good chance she’s cheering on the Minnesota Lynx or the Gopher women’s hockey team. She also enjoys camping, folk dancing and reading feminist science fiction. Anne lives with her partner and two cats in South Minneapolis.
