As vice president of communications and information services, Wendy leads a team of communications and research professionals who create, gather and disseminate knowledge to create a positive environment for philanthropy in Minnesota. By informing and educating grantmakers, grantseekers, policymakers and community members, she and her colleagues contribute toward a more vital, more equitable Minnesota.

In the for-profit sector at Colle & McVoy, Wendy led a multi-disciplinary account team that deployed research, advertising, public relations, direct marketing and more to build client brands and exceed business objectives. She has prior experience as a corporate advertising manager, public relations writer and trade industry journalist.
Wendy was a 2012-2013 policy fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. She has a master’s in leadership from Augsburg College in St. Paul and a bachelor’s in communications studies from Pennsylvania State University.
Wendy enjoys harvesting vegetables from her garden, watching comedies and film noirs from the ‘30s and ‘50s, and traveling near and far to satisfy her endless curiosity about life and the human condition.
