“Transformational”, “historic”, and ”remembered for years to come,” are words that some have used to describe the 2023 Legislative Session. The $72 billion budget that Minnesota lawmakers passed is a 38% increase from our current biennial budget and the largest, by far, in state history.

Join MCF, Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP), and Hylden Advocacy and Law for a member briefing outlining legislative appropriations that occurred in the 2023 session, with a particular emphasis on resources the state directed to nonprofits. Nancy Hylden, of Hylden Advocacy and Law, will present a report prepared for MACP in partnership with MCF, and Terri Thao, of MACP, will discuss how philanthropy can support implementation of these resources. Come to learn about Minnesota’s budget details, and bring your questions!

Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. For additional information, please reach out to Katina Mortensen at kmortensen@mcf.org
