About Jill:
Jill relocated to Minnesota from Oregon in 2014 and fell unexpectedly in love with everything this amazing region has to offer. She is an all-around outdoors enthusiast, but particularly enjoys hiking, running, kayaking, and gardening. She is also an avid knitter and constantly trying to find space for her ever-expanding yarn stash. She lives on a small farm near Annandale west of the Twin Cities with her husband and two children.

Jill has an affinity for data and stories it can tell. She has over eight years of experience working with databases and communication platforms with various government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. She is honored to use this experience to support Minnesota’s philanthropic community in collaboration with the rest of the MCF team. She received a B.A. in Media Studies from Montana State University and went through a specialized graduate studies program through the University of Oregon with a focus on Communications and Agriculture.
